Who we are
We are molecular biologists — dissecting models and mechanisms of genome regulation and disease. We are human geneticists and computational biologists — seeking to leverage big data to understand the genetic basis of disease. We are technology developers — inventing new experimental and computational tools by combining CRISPR, single-cell genomics, biochemistry, machine learning, and statistics. We value openness, growth, integrity, and diversity, so that we can solve problems of any shape and size.

- Students interested to join the lab must first be admitted to one of the PhD programs at Stanford, including Genetics or any other program in Stanford Biosciences.
- Visiting students
